As a Business Development Manager on the Worldwide Attach Ecosystem team, you will drive growth of Apple attach products — including Apple Accessories, Beats, and AppleCare — across Japan’s channel partners. You’ll own the full lifecycle: building sales programs that maximize revenue through digital and physical channels, and bringing those programs to life through merchandising, marketing, and in-store experiences that set the standard for how customers discover and buy these products. This role blends commercial strategy with hands-on program execution, requiring someone equally comfortable negotiating with retail partners and briefing a creative agency on fixture design.
責務
• Manage new and existing partner relationships end-to-end; from prospecting, sell-in and joint planning through cross-functional coordination and results reporting.
• Define and execute sales incentive and demand generation programs aligned with market trends, partner strategies, and Apple’s revenue objectives across Japan’s channel ecosystem.
• Design merchandising programs for Apple Attach Ecosystem products, owning the process from concept through implementation and sustainment, including custom fixture development for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
• Develop enablement resources (training content, marketing collateral, engagement activities, and stakeholder communications) that equip partners to deliver a premium customer experience.
• Ensure premium visibility for Apple attach and Beats products by identifying and maximizing partner media, in-store marketing, and merchandising opportunities.
• Oversee agency and vendor partners responsible for field sales operations, inventory management, fixture production, and print execution.
• Establish performance reporting that connects program activity to business outcomes, and drive a cycle of continuous improvement.
• Own budget forecasting and spend management for all marketing communications and merchandising activities; report to Worldwide teams.
• Serve as Japan market champion with WW HQ stakeholders in Cupertino and Culver City, influencing global strategy, securing resources, and ensuring regional needs are represented.

最低限のスキルと能力
• Experience in business development, account management, or marketing communications (agency or in-house).
• Track record working with Japan’s major consumer electronics retailers and/or carriers.
• Demonstrated project management capability in a sales or marketing function.
• Strong negotiation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills — comfortable operating across senior leadership, retail buyers, and front-line staff.
• Ability to drive programs independently within a complex, matrixed organization; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual and bicultural in Japanese and English.
• Ability to travel domestically (~25%) and occasionally internationally.
