Loans & Structured Credit Japan is a part of Global Financing & Credit Trading, Asia that covers a wide range of financing transactions for Japan corporate clients, including private credit and corporate loans, across senior and mezzanine parts of the capital structure.

Your skills and experience:
• For Associate: Minimum 3 years’ experience in asset-backed valuations and underwriting, corporate valuations, recourse and non-recourse loan structuring and origination and
• For VP: Minimum 6 years’ experience in asset-backed valuations and underwriting, corporate valuations, recourse and non-recourse loan structuring and origination and
• Minimum 3 years experience in the leveraged loan, LBO, and M&A areas;
• Experience working in a similar role in a Japan-based financial institution or fund
• Native Japanese and business-level English;
• Prior working knowledge of accounting, including analysis of financial statements;
• A strong background in identifying, understanding, and underwriting risk;
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills for such key tasks as preparing investment committee memorandums, internal reporting, and client presentations.
• Excellent computer literacy and significant experience using MS Office, particularly Excel;
• Team player with strong mentality and motivation to contribute
